Beautifully secluded. So lovely and quiet. House reef was amazing for snorkelling (we’ve done a lot around Asia) - saw cuttlefish, sharks, Scorpionfish, massive healthy shoals. Trip to menjangen was lovely and close and easy. Diving was amazing. Go to sleep with sounds of waves/water. Restaurant was able to simplify food for my partner who has food allergies. Deer, monkeys free roaming was stunning. Would love to return.

What an amazing place! Superbe comfort in the rooms, which are well isolated so no bugs, excellent food with very fair prices (the local wine was also great and good value, and definitely try the sangria), good snorkeling’in the house reef… what’s not to like? Menjangan provided better snorkeling in some places (around the bat caves) but no need to go more than once when you have the reef on your doorstep. I saw black tip sharks there every day, just between the jetty and the buoy. So may monkeys and deer in July! Douzens and douzens everywhere. Felt like living in the zoo. Really delightful experience. Wifi everywhere, and good speed too. I had to work a bit and zoom worked well in the room. The aircon is strong, the view magnificent, and what a peace and quiet (except when a cheeky monkey manages to sneak to the breakfast table and steal some fruit. The price for transfer from Ubud was very fair too. I wish I could stay longer.

NusaBay Menjangan is a stunning and paradise-like resort, the only one located within Bali National Park. We arrived at Lalang Port with our amazing driver Komang, from where we then took the complimentary ferry using the schedule provided by the resort. Immediately, we were warmly welcomed by all the staff involved. We were stunned upon arrival as the resort is set in the most beautiful location, right by the beach and in the middle of wildlife. In terms of location, this place is really second to none, it's a unique experience. We stayed in a beautiful Lanai cottage which is very comfortable, just make sure to follow the guidelines provided on locking the rooms/property well since there are lots of monkeys around! The resort is calm and relaxing, a nice break from otherwise bustling Bali. The resort provides various activities that can be booked directly with them, or you can be picked up at the harbour or at the resort (depending on the activity) by a personally booked guide. We spent two days with a fantastic guide called Idris who does a lot of tours in the area - and enjoyed snorkelling at Menjangan island, birdwatching in the savannah, a wildlife safari and a mangrove tour on a traditional boat. We got to see the Bali starling, which I was so happy about! While snorkelling at Menjangan island was a great experience (beautiful corals and we got to see several sea turtles), it's already possible to snorkel at NusaBay's own beachfront too - snorkel equipment is readily available to guests. A highlight is certainly being able to have breakfast, lunch, tea and/or dinner at the waterfront restaurant. The beach views are stunning and once again you are surrounded by wildlife - think deer wandering about the beach, or even a cute wild pig coming to lie right next to the restaurant. If you are keen to spend some time in West Bali National Park, staying here definitely provides you with the most exciting way of truly getting close to nature.

It was an absolutely amazing stay at Nusa Bay, the staff professional, the rooms a dream, and the setting so beautiful. You are in the national park, it’s so quiet and peaceful, and the sea is incredible. You can do snorkelling and canoeing for free and the views while snorkelling are amazing. We paid for a diving session and that was absolutely incredible too, the instructor very good. Overall, our stay was incredible and we’d recommend this to anyone.

This is a unique and beautiful place in the middle of the jungle and right at the beach. At breakfast, you can watch monkeys, and at dinner, wild boars often stroll past the tables. The staff is incredibly friendly and happily provides information about the wildlife and life at this fascinating location. The food was fantastic and very varied. While snorkeling, you can encounter colorful fish swimming all around you. The rooms are spotlessly clean and well-equipped.

This is the most magical one-of-kind place in the world. A peaceful oasis in nature. Watch black monkeys munching on leaves in the trees in front of your bungalow or above you in the trees as you laze in a hammock on the beach in the late afternoon breeze. Dine at the stylish open-plan restaurant with a family of gentle deer grazing nearby. And snorkel in coral gardens nearby where the colours of the coral amaze and mingle with fish of every hue- I even saw turtles, huge baracuda, giant hump head parrot fish, massive bartfish, colourful starfish and more. The bungalows are lovely- most perched a little way back from the beach on a rise under the shade of big trees. AC, fan, day beds on the private terrace. And housekeeping staff even come to turn down the big comfy bed and safely close the mosquito net every evening. The staff are amazing- well trained, super attentive, discrete, polite, and eager to make your stay even more memorable than the natural locations offers. They go out of their way to greet and to ensure your stay is the best it can be. Terima kasih to the re eption staff, the restaurant staff, the chefs, the housekeepers, the gardeners, the handy man, the sevurity guards, and the boatmen. The hike to the Park Ranger’s post, where I could see the endangered Bali starling and learn about the breeding program for re iving the population, was great. Lots of flora and fauna. However, one of the favourite parts of my stay- even the best - was the Blue Corner Dive Shop that is located at the land end of the amazing pier (I used to sit out on the pier to catch the breeze and look at the cute batfish slowly dancing around beneath). The dive masters, both called Putuh, were fabulous, as were all of the staff. Very professional and went above and beyond to put guests at ease, share information, and ensure everyone had the best time, especially when visiting nearby Menjangan Island marine reserve. They were never too busy for a friendly chat.

You can safely snorkel off the pier, gentle current. Mid Feb (wet season) visibility was fine. Great coral, fish, octopus, small reef shark, barracuda etc. Can walk up coast (with or with guide) saw deer, civet cat (also in hotel area overnight), wild pigs, huge Monitor lizard, huge bats, birds everywhere. Oh and the black and grey (very naughty) monkeys.

This place is heaven on earth. Nested in the middle of a national park, you will spend time immersed in the wilderness, surrounded by countless birds Z butterflies, monkeys, deers. The reef also is full of life, so many colourful fishes. No entertainment whatsoever, just pure relaxation and nature sound. We loved it and the kids can't wait to be back! Definitely worth the 4 hours drive from Sanur

very peaceful, great breakfast, staff was amazing! They offer diving and snorkelling and they accommodate our family so our 2 year old could go on the boat with us to do the snorkelling around the island.

Exceptional location, very peacefull and quiet. Incredible snorkling spots around @ 20min boat in cristal clear water. Very professional staff and helpful. Widelife in the hotel premises. Complementary Afternoon tea/snack @ the front beach restaurant Well preserved area and very integrated hotel, despite having complete facilities for such rated hotel (you actually don't see the hotel from the boat before really arriving at the hotel pier)
